This is the first Middleton pre-press baler. It's based on our horizontal shear HB50 baler that has been very successful and is used by many household name supermarket distribution centres and manufacturers across the UK. Because we service so many different types of baler, we have incorporated all the best features and added some of our own to make it more economical to run.
Our engineers have worked closely with our customers and operators to make a much more user friendly touch screen control panel that shows the operator what's happening at every stage.
The hydraulics have been designed in-house and built in collaboration with Parker Denison and give a quicker throughput with service parts that are easily accessible This pre-press design reduces the force needed over a more conventional shear machine. This machine is designed for customers with multiple types of material so it bales all types of paper, board, cans and plastic. The machine can be easily set up to handle all the different types of product. It's designed to run continuously round the clock if necessary as many of our customers do. It's a very strong, rugged design. The mill sized bale is strapped vertically making it easier to handle and stack.
This model has a 60 tonne press force and an 80 tonne and 100 tonne will follow. These models can be fitted with an automatic string tying system which will be attractive to those in the waste to energy market |
