This new design was first trailed with Georgia-Pacific at Bolton, the world's largest tissue manufacturers. It ran for six months around the clock - with only Sundays off. The only service call required was to correct a slight oil leak. One has recently been installed at Western Corrugated, Cwmbran.

Presona LP50HM 50t horizontal baler

This horizontal baler is ideal for low headroom locations and has an output of 3-4 tonnes an hour. Though carrying the Presona name it was designed and built in Somerset to include all the usual robust Presona features. Easy to install and operate it has a better than twenty year life. The initial prototype worked for 24 hours a day for six months - stopping only for Sundays - at Georgia-Pacific's Bolton mill. They are the world's largest maker of tissue.
